Bad news for Barcelona before El Clasico

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez received bad news of the injury of French defender Jules Conde, during his participation with his country against Austria, yesterday, Thursday, in the European Nations League.

Jules Conde was discharged after just 22 minutes of kick-off with muscle pain.

According to the Spanish radio "RAC1", the French defender's injury does not look good, and everything indicates that he suffers from a muscle rupture, and therefore he will miss participation with Barcelona for several weeks.

She added, "Conde will return to Barcelona within hours, in order to undergo medical examinations and determine the extent of his injury, and assessments will not be made until after the results of the medical examinations, but there is no optimism from Barcelona."

The report indicated that Conde is likely to be absent from the Clasico match against arch-rivals Real Madrid in the latter's stronghold, Santiago Bernabeu, on October 16.
