Fortifying Dembele is a priority in Barcelona

 A Spanish press report stated that the Barcelona administration is seeking to extend the contract of the French player, Ousmane Dembele.

Dembele's contract with Barcelona expired, and the management failed to convince him to renew, before reaching a new agreement, he signed a two-year contract with the Blaugrana.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ousmane Dembele has a two-season contract, with a release clause of only 50 million euros.

And the newspaper added, “Half of the value of the penalty clause will go to Dembele and his agent, if it is activated by any other team, and therefore the administration is seeking to extend the contract for a longer period and change some clauses.”

The report indicated that the Barcelona administration is placing the renewal of Osman Dembele's contract as a priority for it during the coming period.

And the newspaper reported that no negotiations took place by the Barca administration with Dembele or his agent, but the player himself knows that the Catalan club wants to keep his services for a longer period.
