Shock: Barcelona loses Conde and Araujo in El Clasico

 

Barcelona dealt a severe blow regarding the injury of the two stars of the team, before the El Clasio match against Real Madrid, scheduled for October 16, in the Spanish League.

Today, Saturday, the Catalan team revealed the nature of the injury suffered by Jules Conde and Ronald Araujo.

Conde was injured at the beginning of the France-Austria match, and he was discharged after only 23 minutes, suffering from a muscle injury.

"The tests carried out on the player, this morning, confirmed that he suffered from an injury to the biceps femoris muscle of the left hamstring," Barcelona said in an official statement.

He added, "Conde will not be available to participate in matches until he recovers from the injury."

And according to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, the last tests confirmed that Conde would be absent from matches for 4 weeks, and therefore he will not participate in the Clasico against Real Madrid, which is scheduled for October 16.

In another context, Barcelona explained that the tests conducted on Ronald Araujo, this Saturday morning, "revealed that he was suffering from a defect in the tendon of the long adductor muscle in the right thigh, and the player will be absent from matches until he recovers from the injury."

And the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Araujo will miss the matches for at least a month, and therefore will not join the Clasico.
